For the past year, my go to resource when I need something in our Homeschool has been SchoolhouseTeachers.com. I have come to depend on my Ultimate PreK-12 Annual Membership. When I need a course, an idea, a unit, or a specific resource for me or one of my kids, I can often find what I need there. It has been so valuable to me as a homeschool Mom. So, today I get to tell you why.
Schoolhouseteachers.com Homeschool Curriculum
First of all, I want to note that Schoolhouseteachers.com is a lot more than just a curriculum, however, if you need a full curriculum resource, you will find it there! With their Ultimate PreK-12 Annual Membership you will get access to full grade level School Boxes. It is just like buying a boxed curriculum, however all your resources are printable and digital. Everything is put together and planned out for you, with a full years worth of homeschool curriculum ready for you to use. It is also important to note, that the the courses and curriculum is Christian-based.
Planning is as simple as clicking on your grade level and printing out Lesson plan guides for each subject area you want to cover. The guides link directly to the courses you will use each day. All the courses include everything you will need. Print out the texts and worksheets you need and put together notebooks, or use the files as eBooks printing only what you need.
There is some work involved in getting what you need printed and putting it together. However, if you are looking for an affordable way to have full grade curriculum for multiple children, you will not find a better value! Also, the courses, and curriculum are thorough and meet the needs of a variety of homeschooling styles. The Courses
If you like to pick and choose each subject and course you are doing with your kids, schoolhouseteachers.com makes it easy! You can browse subjects and courses by grade level and choose individual units, activities, or full courses that you want to do with your kids. This is where we fall in! I like to put together and plan my kids curriculum myself. My kids each have their own reading, writing, math, etc. courses at their own working grade levels. Then I like to choose science, social studies, and other subjects that we can do together that are appropriate for multiple grade levels! There are so many courses on Schoolhouseteachers.com that are wonderful to do as a family!

Daily Grammar
I mentioned this course in my previous review of schoolhouseteachers.com, I wrote last year. However, I can’t help but talk about it again, because we are still using it a year later. Daily Grammar provides full year grammar courses for grades 1-9. I simply print out the lessons, and put them in a notebook for my kids. They do 1 lesson everyday. The lessons are easy to follow and give an appropriate amount of practice and review each day! This will not be a course I stop using anytime soon!
Drive Thru History: American History
I was so excited to find Drive Thru History courses on Schoolhouseteachers.com last year. The course is listed as 6th-9th grade but honestly we love watching the videos as a family! My 6 year old and 9 year old both enjoy this series. We like to watch the lesson video together. Then my older kids work together to answer the questions and complete the quiz each week. We love this course and look forward to trying the Drive-Thru History: Ancient History course in the future!
Independent Morning Work for Kinders
My older kids always have several tasks they complete each morning as their “Morning Work”. When my youngest was starting Kindergarten this year, he wanted morning work too! Of course, the first place I looked was SchoolhouseTeachers.com. I was so happy to find this little printable course. It is perfect for him as he has 1 page, reviewing, letters and numbers that is easy and repetitive enough to give him some independence in his schoolwork and help him feel older like his brothers. The pages are fun, have lots of coloring, tracing, copying, and matching activities, and only takes him 5-10 minutes. It has been wonderful for our daily morning routine!
